billroperThey say that "dog bites man" isn't news, but "man bites dog" is. And it would be news if "squirrel killed by car", but when "car killed by squirrel", well, you just have to take notice.

A resounding boom shakes the neighborhood, and the coffee maker dies.
I am addicted to coffee. Failing to get my Sunday morning fix tends to make me a little anxious...
I now keep a non-electric percolator in the house, just in case. So of course I haven't needed it.
In my new neighborhood, the squirrels favored snack seems to be telephone lines...
