May. 7th, 2007 10:38 pmI got to work, tested the example file that I'd created for localization testing, and discovered that it was saved in a later version of the product and wouldn't open in the version that the localization folks were testing. Oops! So I readded the updates to the original file and saved it in the right version.
daisy_knotwise, Katie, and
catalana picked me up for lunch on their way to the train station. A good (and filling) time was had by all. Then back to work, where I discovered that the dialog that I was getting ready to modify was a bit of a mess. Fortunately, it's an internal tool, so no real users get to see it. I cleaned it up and will have to port it back across two more code lines before this little project is done.
Then off to home, where
daisy_knotwise had made dinner and we watched How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, and last week's ER.
Katie's being fussy, probably due to teething. We'll try to get her to settle down now...

And the Mai Lee thing I didn't see coming from a mile away.
As much as I like the show... it's just getting more and more contrived as the years go on. Every now and then, I expect them to bring Dr. Green back from the dead somehow, because really... the show hasn't been the same since he left.
