Keys Please

Katie's developed the habit of grabbing daisy_knotwise's finger or my thumb, sticking it her mouth and frantically sucking and gumming at it. We're thinking this makes her gums happy, since she doesn't appear to be hungry or want the bottle about this time. The problem has been that we haven't had anything else that's been of the right size for her to stick in her mouth without being in danger of swallowing it.

Gretchen drew upon her own childhood memories today to solve the problem and picked up a fine set of plastic keys on a ring while at the grocery store. And Katie likes them quite a bit.

Which means I can have my thumb back.
