We have successfully brought Kathleen home to our hotel room. She seems to like the car seat.
Now, if we could just figure out how it snaps into the stroller base. (On the other hand, if we don't figure it out, by the time she hits the weight limit for the car seat, I'll have gotten some serious exercise.)

Date: 2006-11-19 10:45 pm (UTC)Did anyone tell you about NO snow suits or blankets between the baby and the seat? It invalidates the warranty and safety approval, because the safety approval was based on testing without such extra padding, which compress in the case of collisions. It's amazing they allow the baby to wear clothes. Pile blankets on top.

Date: 2006-11-19 11:00 pm (UTC)This car seat goes in using the LATCH system, which seems pretty straightforward. Certainly it's not going anywhere easily.
Gretchen got the strap briefing from our friends with the same seat. I've seen Formula One racers who weren't strapped in this well.
