Not Such a Bad Price After All
Aug. 1st, 2006 03:36 pmLooking over the completed listings on eBay, I discover that the amount I paid for my Roland GR-33 via Buy It Now wasn't such a bad price after all. I don't think any of the ones that had all the parts that I wanted went for significantly less and some went for a good bit more.
Meanwhile, in other equipment news, I hereby announce that my original Guild case for my Guild 12-string -- which I've been using for the Guild six-string guitar for air travel for several years now, because the airlines couldn't do any more damage to it than had already been done -- has now officially expired of old age and general abuse. Terry at the Guitar Works looked at the plywood and said, "Well, I could glue that piece of plywood back together, but this spot here on the back at the top of the neck that you've just showed me can't be glued at all, because there's nothing to glue it to."
So my Guild six-string is now traveling in a brand-new really heavy plywood Martin case.
I think it's confused by all this.
