Opening Day

Cold, wet, rainy, a cold front coming through from the north. All these things can mean only one thing -- it's Opening Day at Wrigley Field. We are so going to freeze.

daisy_knotwise looked at my bright red shirt with some dismay this morning. But after 25 years in Chicago, I'm still a Cardinals fan and -- for the first time since the first FilkOntario -- the Cubs are opening at home against the Cards.

Other than that, I'm wearing my wool socks and looking for my ski mask and gloves.

It's interesting to contrast you with Erik Olson. You're a Cards fan living near Chicago, and he's a Cubs fan, living in St. Louis. I'm thinking you two should hook up and go to some games. :-)
