Opening Day

billroperCold, wet, rainy, a cold front coming through from the north. All these things can mean only one thing -- it's Opening Day at Wrigley Field. We are so going to freeze.

daisy_knotwise looked at my bright red shirt with some dismay this morning. But after 25 years in Chicago, I'm still a Cardinals fan and -- for the first time since the first FilkOntario -- the Cubs are opening at home against the Cards.
Other than that, I'm wearing my wool socks and looking for my ski mask and gloves.
