Yeah. I just look at the information that's available to today's meteorologists and think that my dad would have killed for it when he was forecasting typhoons in the Pacific.
Looks like they came through it okay... hometown and my dad's business (Aberdeen and Tupelo, respectively) are okay. Amory, about 20 miles east, got hit hard and has a lot of downed trees and power outages, so I think my parents were very very lucky!
