Home From the Hospital

I'm back from the hospital, daisy_knotwise having picked me up. Unlike the rest of the stay, the exit from the hospital had its Keystone Kops moments, including one wheel of my wheelchair getting stuck in the mud and some interesting (but ultimately successful) acrobatics in getting into the back seat of the minivan.

I'll be posting a detailed "trip report" soon, but possibly not tonight as I'm:

a) Really tired
b) Our good buddy, Sam, is coming over to install banisters in our stairwells so that I can get up and down the stairs without killing myself.

I didn't expect to be quite as tired as I am, but then I consider that I didn't sleep well in the hospital and that I've done more physical work today than I've done since before I went under the knife. So I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
