Of course, when your doctor is Dr. Bob, life isn't necessarily routine. But it was pretty normal this time, with one of (as [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise calls them) the "baby doctors" taking the history and such.

I've been informed that I really need to lose weight. This isn't a revelation.

And the solution is simple. Eat less and exercise more.

It's the execution that's the problem.

But I have ideas.

Yup, the exercise works for me too, I managed to drop two and a half stone (35 pounds) last year. Without space for any equipment at home I used the "Hackers Diet", which seemed appropriate given my profession. I gave it up over the winter but have started again now since I want to loose another 10 pounds or so.
