daisy_knotwise and me over for dinner tonight, along with samwinolj and Bonnie, for his annual pre-Christmas celebration. Katie and Julie stayed with our friend Jennefer, which greatly improved the level of adult conversation at the party.
We had a wonderful time. So did the girls, as they played with Jennefer and Kayla, the elderly Golden Labrador retriever. Although Julie was quite ready to go home when we arrived.
But it was progress. :)
