My Wonderfully Confusing Ankle

billroperThis morning, I woke up and looked at my still-sore ankle.
It is not swollen.
It is not discolored.
It did still hurt quite a bit, although less so as the day went on. Most of the pain is in the back with the Achilles tendon (which no doubt got a bit strained in the fall) and on the right ankle bone.
I suspect I may have chipped a bone there. Unfortunately, about the best they can do for that is give me an air cast. The rolled-down sock seems to be a pretty good stand-in.
We'll see how it is tomorrow.
