I Surely Didn't Hear That

Katie and Julie were anxiously awaiting their bath tonight, with Katie having shed her clothes already and standing on the balcony waiting for daisy_knotwise to come upstairs and plunk the two girls in the tub. We were sitting in the living room below, looking at the Christmas lights, the last of which went up just a few minutes before, and congratulating ourselves on a job well-done, when Katie shouted from the balcony:

"Where's the Princess < unintelligible word >?"

Gretchen replied, "It's on the back side of the bathtub, next to the wall."

I looked at Gretchen in a bit of horror and confusion. "What exactly did she say?"

"Where's the Princess scrubber?"

"Oh, thank God."

Gretchen looked at the expression on my face. "No," she said, "Disney isn't selling those yet."

Good.
