In this case, the new thing that I learned was at a Cubase demo that I went to tonight. It looks like there's a feature that I didn't know about that will let me do some clean up on the tracks that I transferred from the original master for The Grim Roper.

We'll see how this works -- after Windycon. :)

It's always nice to discover some capability you didn't know existed. Except that means deciding whether to use that capability or not, and if so, the extra work involved in correcting whatever it is it corrects :-)

Cubase 5 or Cubase 6? And what is the feature?

Cubase 6. Basically, I can create a tempo map for a set of tracks, then use it to time shift and pitch shift parts of the tracks. This will fix a glitch in at least one of the transfers.
