The Things You Find On Snopes

w3woody recently posted about Hardee's larger-than-you-should-eat Monster Burger.

Of course, that's nothing as compared to this six-pound-bigger-than-your-head-what-in-the-name-of-God-were-you-thinking burger.

I suppose I should browse Snopes more often, for the amusement value if nothing else.

It'd be a pretty good deal if you went there with eleven friends and split the 96er a dozen ways -- that's about two bucks apiece for the equivalent of a half-pound burger -- generally enough -- or more than enough -- for most people.

I don't remember if the 6-pound burger turned up on one of Food Network's "Top 10 Places to Pig Out" list. Some of the ones that did was the pizza place in St. Louis that had the 28" diameter pie, a steakhouse in Texas serving a 72-oz steak, a breakfast place in Seattle that serves a 12-egg omelet, and Ben & Jerry's for their Vermonster. These are the places I'll have to "bring the gang", as mrlogic suggested, should I do go.
