Sneezy and Dopey

It might be the incredible level of mold spores that were unleashed by the rains of last week. It might be the common cold. It might be both.

But my nose woke me up this morning at an early hour and has been running like a faucet ever since, briefly interrupted by doses of Actifed.

This can stop any time.

My sinuses started Saturday. Wonderous time too. And this week the weatherman is calling for record heat here.

Mainlining Afrin, saline rinse, neti, and Zyrtec.

Haven't seen Actifed in quite a while. Faucet nose is best turned off with doses of benedryl, although that has the annoying tendency to turn off the human the nose is attached to.

It's actually the Wal-Act version, which still contains pseudoephedrine. "Real" Actifed has been neutered to contain phenylepherine, which there's no reason to believe has any useful effect when taken orally, according to things like the Mayo Clinic website. :(
