Rain, Rain

After weeks of dry weather in July, we're now making up for lost time. After the seven inches of rain a few days ago, we had another round of severe thunderstorms last night that included what appears to be a lightning strike taking down a tree limb just down the street.

If it rains another half an inch, we'll set a record for the month.

I tried to steal some rain and bring it home Wednesday, but it managed to fall out of the trunk before I got to Merrillville.
