Speaker to Mixers

Meanwhile, on Friday I called the repair shop that has had my busted monitor speaker for two months as of tomorrow and asked how it was coming, because the last time I'd called -- a month ago -- they'd said, "We'll call you when it's done." They checked and reported that there was a "parts problem" and that they'd get back to me.

This morning, they called and talked to Gretchen while I was in the shower. Apparently, the parts problem has been solved and I can pick up the working speaker on Monday.

And then I should have a working studio again.

I hope...

It sounds like that phone call encouraged someone to make a long-overdue second call to the parts place that solved the parts problem, doesn't it?

Either that or call a different source of parts that they don't normally use. :) Either way, I'll be happy to have the speaker back.
