The RayDat card came in today, so Katie and I trekked over to Gand to get it, because I'd like to get the studio back up and running. Before dinner, I installed it in the new computer. AFter dinner, I went back to try to figure out why the driver installation wasn't working.

And when I finally got the drivers installed, I was rewarded with the Blue Screen of Death.

So I uninstalled the drivers and installed the beta drivers. And I was rewarded with the Blue Screen of Death.

So I uninstalled the drivers and left a message for support and on the RME forum.

Why do I have the feeling that this is the first Sandy Bridge motherboard that they've run into?

Sorry for all the trouble you are having Bill. Hope you get back up and running soon. I have a question. Sue and I would like to have Amy play fiddle on a couple of songs on the new Stone Dragons CD and I am trying to come up with a way to do this and she mentioned she might be recording at your studio some time? Any chance I can send you mixes of a couple of songs and you record her fiddle? No rush on this and I was hoping to do it at FKO but 1) I will be super busy and 2)I don't have anything to record her with it at the Con.
