And the final score for daisy_knotwise's colonoscopy: Gretchen 1, Polyp 0.

The polyp was benign, which is good. However, it was of a type that has a tendency to progress to not-so-benign, so Gretchen will be having her next colonoscopy in five years when I get mine.

I had no polyps, but I have this annoying family history...
