We got a couple of inches of snow overnight. Many of the neighbors cleared their driveways. I didn't bother, believing that resistance is futile, although I did take the shovel and clear a one-shovel-wide path to my newspaper and the mailbox -- with dead ends each time I turned to push the cleared snow to the edge of the driveway.

I went out for lunch and to grab the last couple of grocery items that we'd missed yesterday. By the time I got back at 2:30 PM, it was coming down pretty good. By now, you can't tell that I did anything to the driveway.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting.

It sounds like, if you get the amount of snow, that they are forecasting (and for us too), you are ready for it - just like we are.

I shoveled my walk right in front of my house ... it also looks like a shovel has never touched it.

I didn't bother, mostly because I wanted to see how much snow Sweetums (my snowblower) could handle. Then we didn't get the overnight blizzard they were forecasting. Only about 6 inches total. Oh well. How much did you folks end up with?
