Catching Up After The Big Freeze

I expect I'll have more to say about GAFilk later, as I actually had an excellent time. Even while delayed, I was having an excellent time.

The thing I've discovered, though, is that not knowing what the heck is going on or exactly when you will regain control over a situation makes me just crazy. I think daisy_knotwise might refer to this as my being a "Control Freak", but I think that's a bit unfair. :)

But unlike the late Wash, I am apparently not too happy when I find myself saying "I am a leaf on the wind".

Oh, no, I think I have to agree with Mom on this one. :)

On the other hand, it's only a label. :) You can discuss the semantic details and come to a compromise, eventually. :)

I sympathize with the crazymaking. That would bother the heck out of me too.

And what I find worst of all is the feeling that other people know perfectly well what is going on--that there's almost no chance the plane will fly tonight, for example--and are deliberately withholding the information to keep me pliable.
