Remember my camera that was missing for so many months that I finally gave up and bought a replacement? I found it tonight.

On the desk in my office.

*sigh*

Can you still return the replacement?

But one of the keys to returning objects from that other dimension is the presence of a similar object to draw it back out.

Alas, some things that slip into that other dimension never seem to return.

You do realize, of course, that if you had not bought the replacement, your old camera would still be missing.
