The Cardinals must have a fever, because they're clearly desperately ill. Losing 13 out of 18 and falling from one game up to eight games behind is just sad.

It's making the 1969 Cubs look good.

They must have caught it from the Tigers, who had a similar run right after the All Star break, and fell from first to third, currently twelve games out.
