I was up until 5 AM fighting with the malware on my work computer. Then tech support called at 9 AM to look at the computer. The good news is that I've been bumped to a tech who is willing to walk through the registry to figure out how to eradicate this beastie.

I think this particular worm/virus is darn near Day 0, because nothing that I've tried running is picking up what's left on my machine. *sigh*
