Gretchen at Age 2 Jeff was good enough to pass along some of the old slides that he'd scanned. I did a bit of cleanup in Photoshop. And this is Gretchen when she was just about two years old, a little bit older than Julie is now. Scary, isn't it?

Pictures of my DH and the boys are scarily similar from babyhood up through elementary grades.

In thinking further on it, Gretchen in the photo might be precisely as old as Julie is now. It was still summer when my dad took the photo, maybe late summer, but warm enough that the maple tree hasn't turned yet and Gretchen could wear a romper that might weigh ten grams. Gretchen was born in late October, so in the photo she could be 20-22 months old. And I second the motion for a side-by-side with this photo and something similar of Julie.
