In a complete failure of sibling rivalry, Katie has now taught Julie how to climb out of her crib.

Thanks so much, Katie...

Unclear on the concept

mutually scheming to inconvenience the parents is a legitimate loophole; It's in all the standard sibling contracts.

It's just a different type of sibling rivalry -- this way, Katie's not the only one in trouble. :)

Maybe Katie is hoping that Julie will have an accident, and she will be an only child again.

Has she taught her to turn around and climb down the outside? Amber learned to climb out and land on her head.

There is a bed right next to the crib. So it is relatively safe, from the crib to the bed to the floor.

When my kid-brother got to that stage, Mom spent one evening putting him back in time-after-time. I don't recall how many times she said she did that before finally ORDERING him to stay there.
