I have listed my first item on eBay. It's a toner cartridge from the now-closed office that was otherwise going to be thrown away. And by listing it, I was incented to pick it up off the floor here and put it away where Katie can't get at it.

Well, I thought it was a word.

As in "incentive", except it's been verbed.

You should have turned that over to facilities.

Facilities had, in fact, lovingly placed the item in a dumpster from which I retrieved it, thereby preventing it from going directly to a landfill.
