I got home late from work (another adventure of Man vs. ClearCase where ClearCase won by going down), so we ended up ordering a pizza for dinner. The girls had been a bit of a handful for [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise -- Katie has discovered the joys of pouring water out of containers, which would be fine if she would pour it into a safe place rather than, say, onto the floor. So after dinner, Gretchen decided she would like to go out and bring back a bit of custard.

One cup of custard was split between the two girls. You wouldn't believe how much custard they could spread around! (Ok, maybe you would.)

It's mostly cleaned up now. And Julie has had her (absolutely necessary) bath and is off to bed, while Katie is still finishing hers up.

Most of the water is in the tub.

There are swimming lessons in the future for these two girls. In Katie's case, maybe sooner rather than later.

My two sons are ~ 3 years apart. BTDT: I'm a believer. :)

Eeeeeeeeek! says the woman who will be your Concertino babysitter! I may rethink the plan of bringing my kids as well... four kids all around the same sets of ages make *exponential* amounts of chaos.
