Date: 2009-03-28 05:23 am (UTC)Today I tuned a query that was going to take a million seconds down to just a few minutes' runtime...but that doesn't really count because it wasn't out of development yet, one of the "optimizations" was "kill the runaway query that's stealing all the resources", and most of the other changes were "jiggle the handle" kinds of changes.
