Thanksgiving Week

It's the week of Thanksgiving which means that there are a lot fewer cars in the parking lot here at work. Of course, I'm here. :)

And I just found out that the DVD failure on our DVR might be fixable by unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. As it happens, I've already unplugged it, so step one of the experiment is complete.

Bwa-ha-ha!

Tomorrow I get to see how busy Qualcomm is this week. I already have received more "Out of Office" notices from my (soon to be former) team then anytime since I started in August, so I have some clue.

Today, I had to work from home so Tara could work at the hospital (where some departments don't get any days off) and I could stay home with Derrick (who gets the whole week off). Wednesday I'll also work from home. Thursday, only the servers at Claim Jumper will work and Friday Tara will put in half a day before we leave for Loscon.
