I've now managed to get a new activation code for my software from Creative support and am in the process of ripping a CD to MP3s to transfer to my Zen player. So far, so good. :)

I can't recall if you're a windows or a mac user. If you use windows, I suggest you glance at CDEx on SourceForge. It's a really nice ripper with zero fuss and no issues of 'activation codes' will ever come up again.

I appreciate the suggestion. The only reason that I'm bothering with this is that it integrates the MP3 ripping into the management software for the MP3 player.

Which Zen are you zenning on?

The (relatively) new 16 MB Zen with no qualifier. It's a nice little box, although every so often it loses its mind and you have to hit the reset button.

I'm considering using the memory expansion slot to rip all the CDs that we sell to for easy demoing.
