Bonus Days

We're having some wonderful weather here this weekend, which -- given that we're in mid-October -- feel like great bonus days. As a result, Katie's been to the park the last two days and had a great time. (And got to play with a set of 16-month old triplets today!)

Unfortunately, the whole family seems to have picked up a sinus infection at ConClave. I'm trying to keep the drainage down with antihistamines, as I'd really like to have a voice for OVFF... :)

No, I can blow the gunk out of my sinuses. What I need to do is avoid having it run down my throat, into my lungs, and trash my voice for OVFF...

I highly recommend saline irrigation using a neti pot. YMMV, of course.

Seconded. Saline irrigation has kept things nicely under control while I'm not able to use antihistamines. Neti pot is one option (but can take a bit of practice); another option is NeilMed Sinus Irrigator (I found mine at a local Walgreens, but I've seen them other places).

Hmm...can you arrange to keep that weather around for a week or so? I have a meeting in Chicago early next week... 8-)
