Burning Gas

The temperature today was a bit warmer than it's been lately, so I drove down the highway to work with the windows down and the stereo playing. Then I went back up the highway to grab lunch at the pizza buffet (which, thus far, doesn't appear to have had any bad effects), once again with the windows open. This costs a little mileage, but there's something to be said for the wind rushing through your hair.

There may be a finite amount of oil in the world, but the number of perfect late summer days that are out there to enjoy in a lifetime is even more finite.

Today is a good day to remember that too.
