Barisha Letterman was hosting a filk up in Milwaukee, so we headed up there once the contractors had left, saw friends from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis (Nate and Louie), sang a bit, then ducked out early (around 11 PM) because we were pretty thoroughly exhausted.

Barisha? This is odd. You referring to Barb, or did she change her name?

I don't think she's legally changing her name, but she has let us know that she wishes to be known to her friends as Barisha.

*sigh*

I couldn't swing going to this one, but I meant to phone just before things would theoretically be getting started and say hi. And I discovered that the piece of paper on which I had safely recorded Barisha's phone number was not in the collection of pieces of paper with such information where it belonged. I suppose I could have paid $3 or whatever Directory Assistance costs these days, but by the time I accepted that I couldn't find my paper, it was enough later that you should have been singing and I didn't want to interrupt.

You have a double in Mississauga

I kept on taking a quick look though untill I he left, I hope he didn't tink I was too strange.
