Fiat Lux!

Since I moved into my new cube last August, the overhead lights have periodically stubbornly refused to come on in the morning. Sometimes, they've simply stubbornly refused to come on all day, or have gone off in the middle of the day, or misbehaved in other ways, all of which are particularly annoying when it's dark outside.

Yesterday, someone finally looked at the panel and replaced a failing relay.

Today, the lights came on as scheduled.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Yes I remember when I was working in a cubicle and I was deliberately kept out of the light of a lot of things and treated like a mushroom.
