Getting Ready for Marcon

I picked up catalana from the train station, then met daisy_knotwise, Katie, and Julie for a nice lunch at Sweet Baby Ray's. Now they've all gone home and I'm back at work.

Tomorrow night, we leave for catalana's closing, then on to Marcon. If I can just get everything done first...

Out of curiosity, could you tell me how often you lot have a meal at home? Almost every post seems to be about eating out somewhere.

Well, the short answer is "less often than we should".

We almost always grab lunch out on the weekend. Dinner may or may not be at home on any given night, especially if there's a meeting later in the evening.

So a recent digest:

Saturday -- grilled hamburgers in the backyard
Sunday -- went to Sweet Tomatoes, a salad bar buffet, with a birthday discount coupon
Monday -- went to RAM, across the street from Gretchen's meeting. (We were pretty wiped after the round trip to Madison anyway. It's about a 2.5 hour drive each way.)
Tuesday -- Gretchen made tamale pie from last week's leftover chili
Wednesday -- Gretchen made pot roast
Thursday -- Bill and Erica leave for house closing and Marcon; Gretchen on her own recognizance. :)
