It's a bright sunshiny day, so when daisy_knotwise mentioned she was thinking about taking Katie out pattern shopping tomorrow, I suggested that she do so today instead and soak up a bit of that sunshine while I finished the song that I've been working on. When they get home, we'll see if they had as much luck looking for patterns as I did. :)

Update: I decided to rename this, as you may (or may not) notice. :)

A Keeper!!!

Hey Bill,
Looks like a keeper to me!!!! I have written a few things but haven't come up with the music for them yet. Life and wedding plans keep getting in the way ;-) The recording is coming along well and have recorded all 17 bass tracks. Oh by the way, I upgeaded my CuBase to 4.1 and it fixed all my lock up problems. Don't know if you have yet or not but I think you will need to in order to use my files as it creates a new version of the files.

Thanks! And I understand how life gets in the way of things. :)

So you write lyrics first and then music? I tend to do it pretty much simultaneously -- actually, I just noodle on the guitar and see if I find an interesting tune that would like some lyrics.

Glad to hear that Cubase 4.1 fixes things. I haven't picked it up yet, but will shortly.

And we'll look forward to seeing you at FKO!
