Katie's still under the weather today, having thrown up again -- although she appears to be feeling better now and is resisting a nap. But [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise and I have decided to stay in instead of going over to Dave and Helen's, so I've rented a copy of Ratatouille, we're ordering in Chinese, and I've picked up a box of brownie mix, hot fudge, and Magic Shell.

Happy New Year all!

Apparently we're facing teh same thing over here, having just called Helen and Dave to bow out.

Ugh... sorry Katie's still not feeling well! I got home about 9:30 from the Wild Mercy evening of food and Munchkin (Munchkin gets very strange when you combine the regular version, Star Munchkin, Munchkin Fu and Munchkin Bites). We'd opted to start and end earlier than normal so that Maddie could go home to her own bed at bedtime (and so we'd all be off the road before the drunks and crazies were cluttering things up), so now I'm home and curled up with purring cats and fuzzy dogs for the evening (which is good, 'cause it's raining and getting nasty out).

Happy New Year to you, Gretchen and Katie!

Made it to Chris and Becka's, then Mike and Myra's for quiet conversation. Then drove home through about three inches of snow. Had to pass one car that was doing about 12 mph but then I have an SUV and they may have been drinking. Used my ridiculously overpowered snow blower this morning. Named it Sweetums a few years back when I had to buy it late in the season.

By the way, anyone know how to paste in a picture instead of the link?

Cool! But... where do you look up the example? How do you do it?

Never mind, I looked at the source on the page. Use the img src command. Now then, I could post my own pictures if I have my own webpage? Will this show a dragon?
