It's interesting to discover exactly how well these two things don't go together. However, we've ironed out some of the glitches in the system, so the next trip around the song should be more productive. :)

(Actually, this wasn't that bad -- just caused Daddy to get extremely frustrated as he ran out of hands a couple of times. *sigh* I must work on that patience thing...)

A good night's sleep is the best thing for patience. Sadly it a very hard thing to come by when you have a baby. *hugs*

Yeah . . .

When I rehearsed with babies, I gave up sitting and playing, which I know you can't do with your knee. I did however use an exercise saucer quite a bit when rehearsing, because Nick began *rolling* at five months to get around *wry smile.*

Hmmm, you could try putting the baby in something you can rock with your foot and give them lots of eye contact so they think you're singing to them. It's amazing what babies will believe. Libby thought I was reading a computer manual to HER.
