billroperIn today's shopping mission, we have acquired a gate for the bottom of the stairs. So far, it's primarily toppled over on top of Katie as she's grabbed at it (it's free-standing, because of the stair configuration), but that's kept her off the stairs without permission.
And it's a very light gate, so only Katie's dignity has been wounded.
