Stuck On Me

billroperI've picked up one of those projects at work that's turned into a tar baby -- once you pick it up, you can't put it down, becaue you're stuck to it. Everything that you do just gets you further enmeshed.
I'll probably find some decent solvent before the end of the week, but it's annoying to keep finding little bits of code that need to be cleaned up. I'm now rewriting the serialization of all of our transactions so that they're properly versioned all the way down the inheritance tree, one of the projects that's been on our "to-do" list for a long time now. I made the mistake of touching one of them, so now all of them need to be fixed now.
