I actually haven't driven down Elmhurst Road in the last few days, but it's been interesting to watch the local gas prices. The Shell at Golf and Milwaukee is usually high and is currently at $3.559. The Mobil at Golf and Washington is $3.499 while the competitive Clark across the street is $3.469 as is the Citgo at Golf and Dee.

But Sam's Club was at $3.329 yesterday, while the Meijer at Golf and Algonquin was $3.299. Obviously, Sam's was too high -- they're at $3.279 today.

Quite a spread.

It's about $3.05 in San Diego at the local Arco. We have been the highest in the nation on many occasions, but I guess we lost out this time. 8-). We are almost always higher than LA, thanks to a monopoly on the only pipe line to our area.
