Let It Snow!

Rumor is that we might get a foot of snow tonight. So far, it's started to sleet.

This means that United and American have canceled all of their flights until noon tomorrow (at least), which is making things really inconvenient for my boss, who was hoping to fly back to Connecticut tomorrow. But his flight is at 4:30, so maybe he'll make an escape.

In the meantime, the forecast has caused most of us to look seriously at working from home tomorrow. We'll see what's actually fallen by morning...

And I've found another ugly little bug in the Stingray libraries. *sigh*

How High are the Drifts?

Our Springfield office didn't open today -- and my boss and his audit team are stuck at the airport in Baltimore, the plane that would have brought them home to Columbus is sitting on a runway at Midway...

Here it's just very windy, gusts having been clocked at 60+ MPH.

No drifts right here, but apparently it's fairly nasty west and south of us near DeKalb. The buildings around here obstruct the wind and the snow was very wet and heavy.
