Work has been good enough to supply me with a wonderful new laptop computer. Now I just need to get all of the necessary software installed and running on it. So far, I've added:

Microsoft Visual Studio
MSDN
ClearCase
PuTTY
Trillian
CodeWright
RogueWave (the Stingray libraries for development)

Sooner or later, I'll figure out what I've forgotten. :)

It can take me up to a year to get every last bit of software installed on a new machine. This machine is about 3 months old now, and just yesterday I finally installed a couple of codecs and video tools that I used to use all the time, but haven't much recently.
I use Ghost a lot on a new machine. Every time I get to what I think is a clean and stable point, I Ghost again. If I screw up, I go back and try again.
