Pennant Watch

The Astros finally lost a game tonight to the Braves while the Cards beat the Brewers to drop their magic number to 2. This by no means makes it a done deal, but it's a heckuva lot better than the situation they'd be in had the win and loss been reversed.

I was telling one of my co-workers about you being both a Cards and a Cubs fan.

He said there could be no such thing, since they play each other in the same division.

I said, well at least with the Cards he's got a team to root for that actually has Winning Years, even if they're not competitive for a Pennant EVERY year.

He couldn't answer that.
