New Trends in SF Costuming
Sep. 6th, 2006 10:24 amVia Instapundit, I find that the new hot trend in SF costuming at conventions is femtroopers, as women seize the opportunity to dress up as Star Wars stormtroopers in, well, customized armor. Sadly, though, I didn't see any of these at Worldcon.
Despite the bare midriff in these costumes, I think I still prefer the runners from Logan's Run.

(You can't do this with Trek, as Trek already does this all the time. We have a bad ass warrior race? Enter the Duras and their leather puppies. Got a relentless cybermenace plowing over the galaxy? Let's give them a Queen so versed in foreplay she can turn on a robot. Trek already has all the midriffs it will ever need.)
