Green River

Where I come from, Green River is a drink. Here in Utah, it's the last services for 110 miles, so daisy_knotwise and I stopped for a drink. The sign said free wireless Internet, so I figured I'd try dropping in a post. We made it to Grand Junction last night a bit after midnight and hit the hay, got up early this morning, and are back on the road again on the way to Las Vegas.

Heh. Where I come from, it's an area of the state known for being the dump site of one of the most famous (infamous?) serial killers ever.

If you grew up around here in the early 80s, you grew up with the phrase "Green River Killer" in the media and forever at the back of your consciousness.
