Ultrasound Photos

Meanwhile, we promised pictures from the ultrasound last week which I've now scanned and uploaded.

I'm really bad at reading these pictures, but the ultrasound tech tells us that she saw all the requisite parts. There certainly appear to be some long bones here.

The shot labeled "face" is, unsurprisingly, one of the better views of the baby's face. And, of course, the baby thoughtfully made sure that we have no idea what his or her sex is by carefully and strategically positioning hands and feet.
On the other hand, the heart is there, the brain is there, the kidneys are there and putting fluid into the bladder, and all four limbs are present and accounted for, so we'll worry about the sex later.

Date: 2006-07-24 04:50 am (UTC)(This is actually the second set of ultrasounds I've seen within the past week -- the other set gave glimpses of the growing son -- he was far more co-operative! -- of a mundane friend of mine who suffered four miscarriages in less than three years before the current one "took" properly. She's more than half-way along now.)
