This is not exactly an album. It's more of an ongoing project.
I have been fortunate enough to have Amy McNally accompany me at a number of my concerts. It's been a tremendous amount of fun.
Now while I am working on an album project (*cough* Crosstime Bus *cough*), studio albums take a lot of time in what has been a complex summer. And while I am quite fond of this album's material, all of it was written before the kids were born.
I have written a lot of material since then.
And I have a number of recordings with the raw tracks of concerts that include that material where Amy was accompanying me. Huh.
A smarter man might have figured this out sooner, but it was while I was on vacation that I emailed Amy and asked if I could start pulling this project together. And she said sure!
So tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday and over on Bandcamp, I have seven tracks from my Chambanacon 2023 concert, nicely accompanied by the talented Amy McNally, and with many thanks to Bill Sutton for supplying the source material. (The entire concert is there save for "Lunatic Moon", which got clipped on the front because Bill was -- correctly! -- concentrating on making sure the house sound was right instead of hitting the record button.)
I hope you enjoy the songs!
And I hope to have some more songs to join them soon.
If I can get Cubase to stop crashing...
Bandcamp Ho!
